Wow! I find this technology extremely fascinating and major game changer as it's developed further. Being able to extract a small amount of energy of out thin air will allow some really cool new and exciting solutions to be developed.
Adafruit designs and manufactures electronics products, components, tools, and accessories and produces a number of learning resources, including written tutorials, introductory videos for children.
Nokia Corporation Makes a $193 Million Bet On the Internet of Things
Lots of activity these past few weeks on investment into technology around the IoT. Here's an example of another one. This one is specifically in the wearables category.

Good article on the investment dollars that are coming in for development and sensors for IoT. It's going to be sensors as the starting point for deployment of new IoT solutions. You can't measure, what you can't sense.

The Internet of Things Needs Design, Not Just Technology
I enjoyed this article as it outlines a well rounded strategy on how one should be thinking about both designing and developing IoT solutions. Well worth the time to read.
